The keyboard is essentially a 1:1 replication of the CyberPowerPC Skorpion K1 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, for a quarter of the price. It features Cherry MX Blue (or equivalent) mechanical switches which have an actuation force of 60g of pressure, a 2mm actuation distance and a 4mm total travel distance, in addition they should last for roughly 50-million keystrokes per key before wearing out. Because of the high-pressure requirement and the short actuation distance, the mechanical switches for the keys also sound quite loud when being used. They’re not so loud that you’re not going to be able to hear anything else going on around you, but definitely loud enough that I would suggest pairing this keyboard with a nice gaming headset so that you can wear some headphones and drown out the click sounds while gaming. Unquestionably though, this is not the keyboard you want if you’re trying to be quiet.

The LEDs are rainbow colored, running Red, Orange, Green, Blue, Violet and Pink from top to bottom. There are multiple LED modes that you can use, ranging from Always-On, to Key-Highlighting to map out your macros for games. The keyboard also supports custom LED settings to allow you to create new LED layouts for your favorite games. In addition to the LEDs, there are also multiple built-in multimedia key functions that can be used to quickly perform tasks on your Windows-based PC, such as open the default web browser, or the calculator.

The keyboard, being made from an aluminum body and housing mechanical switches, is also theoretically waterproof, however, I didn’t test to make sure that was actually the case, as I tend not to intentionally pour liquids into electronics just to see what happens.

If you’re looking for a high-quality mechanical gaming keyboard with fast response time, cool LED features and a long lifespan, I would highly recommend the Kingtop 104-Key LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
