Pofan 3D Zinc Alloy Micro USB and Lightning Cable

The Pofan 3D Zinc Alloy Micro USB and Lightning Cable is a 2-in-1 USB Type-A to Micro USB and MFI-certified Apple Lightning Cable.

The cable measures 47 1/2 inches (120.6 centimeters) in length from tip to tip. It features zinc coated connectors and a rubberized flat ribbon-style flexible cable. The coolest feature about this cable is that the micro-USB/Lightning side of the cable is actually a 2-in-1 plug and not some sort of adapter style plug. What does that mean exactly? Well, it means that it can plug into a micro USB port or an Apple Lightning port without having to do anything. It literally fits both plugs without any issues. The only thing I did notice is that, depending on which style of port you’re connecting the cable to, you have to make sure you’re plugging it in the correct way in order to have it connect to the device. Considering the connector can fit either type of port, you won’t have the typical micro USB connector shape to help guide you when plugging in your phone or other micro USB devices and when connecting to an Apple Lightning port, you’ll find that the cable will only charge or perform with data/sync capabilities when it is plugged in one way.

Aside from that however, this cable is really cool. Being able to have a single cable that I can use for both my Android and Apple devices, without having to worry about adapters or converters, is incredibly time saving and removes a lot of the hassle I usually experience trying to find the right cable amongst the pile of cables I have laying around.

The cable is Apple MFI-certified and works for charging, data and sync on my iPad Air (1st Gen) running the latest iOS 10. In addition, it also works for charging, data and sync on my Android-based Huawei Honor X5 smartphone.

If you’re looking for a sleek, stylish and incredibly functional USB Type-A to Micro USB and Apple Lightning cable, I would highly recommend the Pofan 3D Zinc Alloy Micro USB and Lightning Cable.
