Product Review: Trusda Nylon Braided Lightning USB Charger Cable
Disclaimer: I provide honest reviews of products that I receive for free or at discounted rates.
The Trusda Nylon Braided Lightning USB Charger Cable is a braided, high quality Apple MFI-certified USB-Type A to Lightning cable.
The cable measures 39 inches (99 centimeters) in length, which is just barely under the 1 meter that is advertised on the Amazon product page. The nylon braiding around the cable give it the appearance and feel of a high-quality cable with superb manufacturing. As an MFI-certified cable, it works on Apple-brand devices without getting any annoying errors about incompatible cables popping up on your screen when you’re trying to charge your device and watch some Netflix. It functions as both a charging cable, as well as a data/sync cable, so you’ll also be able to use it with iTunes, or in my case, to copy files off of your Apple devices without any issues.
The cable performs to the full specification of USB 3.0, which is to say, it performs as fast as it possibly could without having Lightning connectors on both ends of the cable, so you won’t have to worry about performance issues with this particular cable. The end point connectors feel like they are made of a solid, semi-rigid plastic that should stand the test of time and be able to withstand a fair amount of abuse before they start to wear out.
If you’re looking for a well manufactured, high quality Apple MFI-certified USB Type-A to Lightning cable, I would highly recommend the Trusda Nylon Braided Lightning USB Charger Cable for your iPad, iPhone or other Lightning-enabled devices.
