KINGSO USB Rechargeable Adjustable Touch Sensor LED Desk Table Lamp

The KINGSO USB Rechargeable Adjustable Touch Sensor LED Desk Table Lamp is a sleek and stylish battery powered, USB rechargeable, multi-stage LED desk lamp.

The lamp itself is about 9 1/2 inches (25.2 centimeters) tall, and about 7 inches (17.8 centimeters) wide when open at a 90-degree angle. The base of the lamp is only 3 inches (7.6 centimeters), but the lightweight materials make it rather stable, so there is no risk of the lamp falling over during operation regardless of the position of the LED panel. It’s also fairly lightweight, weighing only 6.6 ounces (187 grams), which, considering it houses a rechargeable battery, is fairly surprising.

The lamp has four modes that can be activated using the touch-sensitive power button; Off, Low, Medium, and High brightness. The lamp can be recharged using any USB charging plug, or a computer/laptop USB port using the included USB Type-A to 5V DC power cable. I kind of wish that the lamp would have used a more standardized plug type, like a micro-USB to charge, instead of the 5V plug, only because I have a tendency to lose cables, but I can’t exactly say that it is a flaw with the product.

I did actually end up ordering two of these lamps because the first one I received was dead-on-arrival, with a battery that wouldn’t hold a charge, but the manufacturer was very quick to refund me and send out a replacement unit. The second unit I received worked wonderfully and even came with a fairly strong charge out-of-the-box.

The only complaint I have with this lamp is that the touch-sensitive button can be a little too touch sensitive, where even slightly brushing against it with any skin can cause the lamp to change modes. Aside from that however, I am incredibly happy with the quality and performance of this lamp. If one were so inclined, this lamp would also do a pretty good job as an indoor low-light LED growing lamp for plants, or as an aquarium light on a smaller desktop aquarium. It really is exceptionally bright for it’s size, putting out roughly half the brightness of a 500-lumen ultra-bright flashlight when in high brightness mode.

As for the charge time, the lamp ran for almost two full days on a full charge, at low-brightness, before finally shutting off, so you’re likely to get about a day at medium and up to 12 hours at full brightness, although, I haven’t actually tested to see how long the lamp would last.

If you want to pick one up for yourself, you can order it on Amazon.com for the current price of $13.68 by clicking here: http://amzn.to/2czbMBQ
