Product Review: Bukm Wired Stereo Headset
Disclaimer: I provide honest reviews of products that I receive for free or at discounted rates.
The Bukm Wired Stereo Headset is a high quality aluminum bodied pair of wired earbuds for phones and tablets. Sporting features such as a one-touch control button, inline volume adjustment, noise cancellation and aluminum housing, they’re definitely a step above the rest when it comes to quality.
The headphones themselves produce incredibly clear audio; solid audible bass, warm and wide midrange and crisp snappy highs. While not entirely studio reference frequency range (20Hz – 18KHz), they get pretty close, which makes for a rather enjoyable music listening experience. The inline volume control is smooth and progressive, not abrupt and intermittent like a lot of other comparable products. The microphone does sit rather low on my chest when I’m wearing the earbuds, which could cause me to sound rather quiet to anyone I’m speaking on the phone with, which is a bit of a negative mark on an otherwise excellent pair of headphones.
In addition to the low-hanging microphone, I also found it moderately difficult at first to get the one-touch button to actually skip forward or backward in tracks while playing music without also starting and stopping the track. While not something I would consider to be a dealbreaker when it comes to a pair of earbuds, if you were intending to purchase these headphones based solely on that feature, you might find the functionality to be moderately annoying at best and potentially, incredibly frustrating.
The included drawstring bag carrying case and additional rubber earpieces complete the package on these high-quality earbuds, making for a purchase well worth the money spent on them.
