Product Review: Qedertek Cherry Blossom Solar String Lights
Disclaimer: I provide reviews of products that I receive for free or at discounted rates.
Qedertek Cherry Blossom Solar String Lights come in an array of available colors, such as Blue, Purple, Bright White, Warm White, and Multicolored, which makes them a good choice for anyone who is looking for a low-cost solar powered LED light for outdoor usage.
Upon initially unboxing, I was slightly surprised by the size of the individual lights. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but they seemed to be relatively small.
After unwinding the strand of lights and measuring it, I found it to be a little under 24 feet from the solar box to last light on the strand, which is a pretty decent length considering they’re advertised as 23 feet in length. There is about 3 feet of lead wire between the solar panel and the first light, which gives you the ability to place the solar panel in an appropriate location and still have the LED lights end up where you want them to be.
The only real complaint I had, after receiving and testing 3 different strands (multi-colored, bright white and warm white) was that the “Modes” supported by the strands differed. The multi-color strand only had two modes; Always on, and Slow Flashing, whereas the Bright White and Warm White had various different flashing modes and patterns, in addition to the “always on” mode. It’s not something I would call a significant issue though, just a minor annoyance that not all of the colors had the same features.
The lights are decently bright for solar powered LED strands and are relatively the same brightness as similar products I’ve owned before, but these have the benefit of being able to detach the solar panel from the ground spike, so that you can be a little more flexible in its placement.
I would say these lights are appropriately priced at around $10 USD, based on the quality and features that they come with. All-in-all, I was pleased with them and they will be used to light up my back porch in the future.
